HOW WE ARE PROTECTING YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY

Short Term Holiday stays in Yarrawonga and the coronavirus.

It’s all over the news and everyone’s talking about it.  The coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly spreading around the world and there are now 49 cases in Australia (14.03.20).

It is a very stressful and unknown time for many of us.

At Waterfront Holiday Houses, we are taking contagion very seriously, and we are committed to taking all the necessary health and safety measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

We have implemented the recommended precautionary operational measures of the Australian Government Department of Health to protect your health and safety.

Please be assured:

  • All our properties receive a deep cleaning and a disinfection protocol after each and every stay. We have increased the use of hospital strength disinfectant on every surface and have briefed all cleaning staff on this protocol.
  • Until further notice, we will not be offering a same day clean changeover. This is to ensure the cleaning team have adequate time to ensure every surface is cleaned and sanitised with disinfectant between guests.
  • We only use quality hire linen and towels from Gouge Hire, which are laundered in extremely high temperatures.
  • All swimming pools and spas are tested for safe chlorine levels after every stay. All our chlorine levels have been raised.

The health and safety of our guests and staff is our utmost priority.

Should you be experiencing any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you contact a doctor immediately and cancel your stay with us.

We hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe.

Karen Mitchell,
General Manager
